Canopy Access Training

CANOPY ACCESS TRAINING

Heartwood Habitat provides canopy access, aerial rescue, and basic SRT (Single Rope Technique) training specifically modelled towards the ecology and zoology fields. Our courses are designed to teach safe and efficient tree climbing techniques to scientists who need to access the canopy.

Offering a single-day refresher or multi-day courses, we can tailor the course to your specific needs and or requirements of an upcoming project, at a location that suits your team. Training both completely new and experienced climbers, we share the most up-to-date climbing techniques and skills to help make your arboreal research safer, more efficient, and easier on your bodies.

With almost a decade of experience delivering courses Australia-wide, empowering scientists and conservationists to conduct arboreal research safely is a gratifying part of what we do at Heartwood Habitat.

“Everyone that does your training always tells us it is one of the best courses they have done”

Chris Jackson – Senior Ecologist, AMBS Ecology & Heritage
